This is the second year I’ve had a chance to go to Seattle to shoot this super fun event! Speed Rack is an all-female bartending competition, with all proceeds going to benefit breast cancer research. Fingers crossed they can bring it to Portland next year 🙂
I will admit that I am a very poor blog updater- as you can see.
With that being said, here’s an update!
Here’s a video for Rogue Brewery that I shot hops farm b-roll of. Enjoy!
So this post comes a bit late- seeing as the event has already happened- but I figured I would share it anyway!
With the exception of the Nick Symmonds and competition footage, I was responsible for the content of this promo piece for the FloTrack Throwdown, a professional track competition between various Olympians and world title holders. I will admit to feeling continually dissatisfied with my shots throughout this shoot, but all in all I think it turned out alright!
So my brother and his girlfriend were in town recently. I rarely get to see either of them- maybe like twice a year, so it was so good to see them both!
Kristen needed a photo of herself for her grad school ID, so we decided to take some photos! I have only taken portraits a few times in my life, but I’ve got to say I had fun! I want to do more now! So many fun things to do with lighting and shadow are brewing in my brain right now 🙂
So I have friends who host an airbnb in a beautiful home in Portland. One of the many amenities available to you if you stay at their airbnb is Cannabis which they grow at an off site (TOP SECRET!) location. I recently had the pleasure of shooting some stills and video of their plants and buds. Good stuff! And if you’re thinking of visiting Portland and feel like a stay in a beautiful cannabis friendly airbnb, here’s the link to their spot! https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/7247104

Recently I’ve been doing a lot of work for Zach Shapiro and One Hundred Seconds, and part of that is regular videos for the workout system/company Barre3. For the workout videos we want EXTREMELY soft light, minimizing the shadows as much as possible. 😀
